“People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it.”
— Simon Sinek
In an AI shift that can automate so much of what you do, the part that stays yours is why you do it. The tools will keep getting better at the tasks; they cannot supply your reason for showing up. For millennials weighing careers against machines that write, code, and design, the durable question is not whether AI can do your work, but what you are trying to build and for whom. The practical move is to get clear on your why before you optimize your what — name the purpose first, then let the tools serve it rather than define it. Bring the people closest to you into that conversation, because they are often the ones who remember your why when the noise gets loud. A reason you can articulate is harder to automate than any single skill.
